May 13, 20202020 LEAGUE SEASON CANCELLED. The following decision has been taken with everyone's safety in mind
After serious consideration by the league committee it has been regretably decided to cancel all Longridge and Disctrict Young Mixed Veterans League games for the 2020 season.
The club fees already paid will be carried over to the next season and the fixture books distrubuted will be used for the 2021 season with a slight date change

Both the President's Day event and the Doubles Day event will be cancelled for this season due to the current situation around the Coronavirus Crisis
March 15, 2020CORONAVIRUS NOTICE. TO ALL CAPTAINS AND TEAM MEMBERS
In view of the current situation surrounding the Coronavirus Crisis the League Committee have made the following decision to withhold the start of the Wednesday Afternoon games until further notice.
The registration day of Wednesday 18th March 2020 being held at Barton Bowling Club will go ahead as planned.

In view of the current coronavirus crisis and information around it, The league would like to say please do not be offended should your opponent not wish to shake hands at beginning and end of a game as people are being very cautious. We know that the jacks are touched by both players but the use of a bacterial cloth to wipe it or even perhaps wear gloves.

Unfortunately due to circumstamnces beyond their control Golden Ball have had to withdraw from the league, as the fixtures books had already been produced this will mean wherever Golden Ball is drawn that particular team will have a bye
March 03, 2020REGISTRATION DATE. TO ALL TEAM CAPTAINS
Team Registration and Fixture Book collection will take place at Barton Bowling Club on Wednesday 18th March 2020 commencing at 2-00pm
It would be most helpful if all team captains could bring their team list for the new season this will enable the fixture secretary to keep the database correct at the start of play.
The committee would like to say welcome to all teams for the forthcoming season and wish everyone well
November 05, 2019ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. Notice to all teams that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 20th November 2019 in Barton Village Hall commencing at 2-00pm.
Any Club unable to attend or send a representative will be fined if apologies are not received by Friday 15th November 2019. Apologies must be in writing to David Lord, League Secretary not the Fixture Secretary.
